We Are From
We are from the depth and beauty of nature; we are from near and far and from bringing man beliefs and faiths together in service and understanding. We are from a sacred building, wind chimes and bells calling us to worship.  We are from cold mornings and thoughts of warm coffee below.  We are from a village steeped in history, a sanctuary full of memory, passion and possibility.

We are from dumplings and quiche, deviled eggs galore, fair trade chocolate, good cooks and homegrown tomatoes.  We are from Nadine's Lunch Bunch, Jeanette's feast and Annie's dinner, Nancy's abundant gardening, Debbie's Coffee Hour marvels and cider in the fall.  We are from the ritual and tradition of the Sedar and all of its food, and we are from sharing.

We go in peace and so it shall be, from nameste, shalom and love is the spirit of this church.  We are from love, care and seek peace.  We are from blessed be and agreeing to disagree,  We are from thank you please, and amen.

We are from watching out for everyone's children and knowing that they are all yours and ours.  We are from Dutch settlers seeking to end slavery; we are from families that questioned and leaders that inspired.  We are from Pratts, Bergs, Vanderkemps, Mappas, Wardels, Landeckers, Christianas, Bradburys and many more to come.  We are from a world of ambition, unity and appreciation for all of our unique qualities and the interconnected web of life.
